Family Day on Hamilton Ranch!
Ranching is a way of life for the Hamilton Family of Vina, California. Ranchers live, eat and breathe the land, and the Hamilton Family has been stewarding their 2,700+ acre ranch for multiple generations. The Hamilton’s have been running a cattle operation on their ranch for nearly 75 years, and with their new conservation easement in place, they intend to work their land indefinitely.
The Hamilton Ranch was placed in an agricultural conservation easement in December 2023 with NCRLT. This multi-year project is now complete, and the family can rest easy knowing that their land will always be used for agriculture operations. The agricultural conservation easement ensures that the land will always be used for agriculture and is no longer at-risk of development.
In celebration of their conservation easement, the Hamilton Family has generously offered to open their property to the public for Family Day on the Ranch on Saturday, August 24th from 10-1:00pm. This event is free and fun for the whole family! There will be ranch tours, roping competitions, creek fishing, root beer floats and more. You are welcome to bring a picnic lunch and enjoy the serene beauty of the ranch.
